Job Duties
Responsible for providing general information and assistance to Government officials legislators employees and citizens in the Divisions statutory jurisdiction; monitor and patrol buildings restrict unauthorized entry in assigned properties. Perform mail processing ensuring mail is correctly sorted for customer pickup.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to work a minimum of three days a week one weekend a month and some holidays.
Must be physically able to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to understand and apply Standing Operating Procedures and other written and or verbal orders and directives.
Demonstrated ability to react appropriately in routine and emergency situations and to communicate effectively with a diverse population.
Working knowledge of safety and security concepts principles procedures and techniques.
Excellent customer relations skills.
Additional Considerations
Law enforcement and/or military experience preferred.
