POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Procurement Manager with a strong background in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or manufacturing industries to lead sourcing supplier management and cost optimization efforts. The ideal candidate will bring deep industry knowledge a datadriven mindset and a proven ability to build valuedriven supplier relationships that support innovation quality and sustainability. This role will lead a team of 2 direct reports.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the endtoend procurement strategy for direct and indirect materials across multiple categories including packaging raw materials and thirdparty manufacturing.
- Analyze market trends cost drivers and spend data to identify savings opportunities and negotiate favorable terms.
- Develop evaluate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality reliability compliance and innovation.
- Partner with R&D Operations Finance and Marketing to align procurement strategies with business objectives and product development initiatives.
- Identify and proactively manage supply chain risks including supplier continuity geopolitical exposure and compliance concerns.
- Ensure all contracts are compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Leverage procurement systems (e.g. NetSuite Intuflow etc. to streamline purchasing track performance and enhance reporting.
- Prepare and present regular reports on vendor performance and the procurement department to identify any issues or risks to senior management.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management or a related field; MBA a plus
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Procurement/Supply Chain role
- Experience leading a team of direct reports
- Proven experience in negotiating and managing contracts
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes quality control and supply chain management
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make datadriven decisions
PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Must be able to sit/stand for 8 hours
- Walking bending light lifting to 50 lbs.
