We are currently looking for a Pool Aircraft Maintenance Engineer at any one of our six bases in the Maintenance department.

As a member of our Maintenance team you will be saving lives by helping to keep our aircraft operationsready 24/7/365. Our work matters. And we take pride in everything we part of something bigger. Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out duties in accordance with the STARS Maintenance Control and Policy Manuals.
- Maintain awareness of Transport Canada regulations and required compliance of Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins.
- Act as a technical liaison with aircraft engine and component manufacturers vendors and overhaul agencies regarding the overhaul repair and modification of aircraft systems and/or components as required.
- Implement engineering modifications and retrofits to the fleet in accordance with OEM service bulletins or other Transport Canada approved data.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Postsecondary Technical Diploma or equivalent required
- Current Transport Canada M1 or M2 AME License required
- Minimum 3 years of progressive experience as an AME
- Turbine engine experience
- Knowledge of the CARS
- Multiengine medium helicopter experience is an asset
- Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) and Night Vision avionic system experience are assets
- The following endorsements are considered an asset:
- H145 Airframe
- H145 Helionix
- Arriel 2E Engine

- All STARS Pool Aircraft Maintenance Engineer roles are physically demanding and require overall strength flexibility and cardiovascular capabilities.
- All Pool Aircraft Maintenance Engineer roles have bona fide occupational requirements e.g. physical standards that are integral to fulfilling the role. These are detailed in the Position Physical Demands Analysis that is shared during the recruitment selection process.
- All Pool Aircraft Maintenance Engineer roles are required to wear personal protective equipment.
