Located in the picturesque seaside suburb of Mentone in Port Phillip Bay our Home offers all levels of permanent respite and palliative care whilst encouraging independence and lifestyle choices that suit the needs of every individual.
Avonlea is a Premium Service Home renowned for its modern and comfortable accommodation peaceful gardens and casual lounge areas all within a friendly community atmosphere.
About the Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Lifestyle Assistants to join our team on a casual basis. As an integral member of our team you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to residents in meeting their individual lifestyle goals needs and choices to enhance their overall quality of life!
The successful applicant will be available to pick up casual shifts at short notice or for planned leave.
About You
The ideal candidate must demonstrate the following:
- Certificate IV in Leisure and Health
- Minimum 6 months experience as a Lifestyle Services Assistant within Aged Care or Community Services
- Current flu vaccination certificate
- Availability and reliability to commit to required shifts
- Ability to take initiative innovate and coordinate creative and engaging programs
- Knowledge of current Aged Care Quality Standards

The successful applicant must complete a National Police Check provide proof of COVID19 Vaccination and may be required to undertake a NDIS check.
