About Hilltown Hilltown Cooperative Charter Public School is a K8 public charter school founded in 1995. We are currently seeking a parttime .5 FTE) School Psychologist who shares this vision and is excited to contribute to a vibrant childcentered and collaborative school Overview The School Psychologist is a key member of the Student Services team supporting students academic emotional and behavioral wellbeing. The School Psychologist collaborates with educators families and related service providers to identify and address barriers to learning conducts psychological assessments contributes to special education eligibility determinations and supports schoolwide socialemotional learning and mental health anticipated start date for this position is August 20 are seeking a compassionate and flexible professional with strong collaboration and communication skills a deep understanding of child development and a commitment to equity and inclusion in all aspects of student Qualifications:Masters in School Psychology or a related fieldExperience working with children in K8 educational settingsPreferred Qualifications:2 years of experience in a schoolbased settingCurrent MA Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) license as a School PsychologistStrong knowledge of special education laws and the IEP processExperience administering and interpreting a wide range of psychological and educational assessmentsFamiliarity with multitiered systems of support (MTSS) socialemotional learning frameworks and traumainformed practicesPrimary Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations as part of the special education eligibility processCollaborate with educators administrators and families to interpret assessment results and determine student needsParticipate in IEP meetings and support development of appropriate services accommodations and goalsSupport school teams in implementing Tier 1 2 and 3 interventionsProvide consultation to teachers and staff regarding behavioral academic and emotional supportsOffer shortterm counseling or crisis intervention as appropriateContribute to a safe supportive and inclusive school climate through participation in student support planning and schoolwide initiativesAdditional Expectations:Attend and engage in student services meetings team meetings and relevant professional developmentMaintain appropriate licensure and compliance with all regulatory standardsCollaborate with families and outside providers as appropriate
