Equans in Aartselaar is looking for a Lead Buyer North.
Join us in in this vital role where you ensure that our companies receive goods and services on time with the right quality while aligning with our business and procurement objectives.

Zoom on your key responsibilities:
- strategy & objectives:contribute to the implementation of procurement strategies and objectives in line with company goals
- sourcing:manage highvalue and complex purchasing requests applying strategic sourcing processes and negotiating agreements to ensure maximum value
- governance:implement procurement policies and communicate governance effectively across all stakeholders
- coaching:mentor junior buyers to enhance procurement capabilities within the team
- reporting:track and report on procurement savings and targets
- as needed you act as Procurement Project Lead Contract Manager Subject Matter Expert Global Category Lead Buyer or Supplier Relationship Manager
What do you need to be successful in this function
- masters degree or equivalent experience
- 7 years in multitechnical procurement
- proficient in MS Office
- strong negotiation contracting and financial management skills
- excellent communication and influencing abilities
- fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus
