Job Description
Are you interested in innovating to deliver Amazons experience to new customers across Africa We are looking for Senior Product Managers to partner closely with category management technology and product teams to deliver a bestinclass experience to our customers.
As a Sr Product Manager you will lead product development of key features in our product roadmap drive key business metrics and develop requirements for innovative technologies for our customers.
The successful candidate has the ability to communicate priorities and work effectively with stakeholders including teams across software engineering logistics product management legal finance and core retail and marketplace businesses.
We have multiple Product Manager positions throughout many areas such as Delivery Experience Shopping experience Retail Operations Seller growth Seller Experience Selection Fees Pricing and others. Key job responsibilities
Managing a product lifecycle with high impact
Build and manage high quality product roadmaps based on business vision and strategy.
Define business problems desired customer experience vision and product strategy.
Partner with teams to secure resources scope efforts set project priorities and milestones and drive delivery.
Manage prioritization and tradeoffs to ensure the right features are built with the right quality at the right time.
Partner with global product teams to identify and influence development of new products and services.
Identify the gaps and pain points in the existing processes and drive improvements;
Deep dive on issues and come up with solutions creating solutions from scratch for short and long term
Promote/drive decision making throughout the team.
Bachelors Degree
Experience building program/product strategy managing end to end delivery and communicating results to senior stakeholders
Experience owning/managing large program or projects
Previous experience in retail/ecommerce/startups
Previous experience with operations
Knowledge of SQL or similar data base programming languages
