About the role
At Sportsbet were reimagining the digital wagering experience creating products that are fast fun intuitive and responsibly designed for millions of Australians. Were on the hunt for aSenior Experience Designerwhos not only passionate about great design but thrives on delivering highimpact customer outcomes in a fastpaced highperforming environment.
What youll be doing
As aSenior Experience Designer youll be a key driver of design excellence in your domain. Youll bring deep craft expertise lead discovery on complex initiatives and champion user experience cohesion across teams. Youll mentor designers collaborate deeply with product and engineering and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the Sportsbet app one of Australias most used and loved consumer apps.
Youll:
- Confidently deliver highquality intuitive and accessible design solutions that improve customer experience and meet commercial goals.
- Lead discovery and exploration on complex product challenges using customer insights ideation and experimentation.
- Use prototyping to bring ideas to life and influence decisionmaking.
- Ensure consistency and coherence in UX across your domain leveraging ourSonic Design System.
- Coach and support Experience Designers contributing to a culture of collaboration feedback and growth.
- Influence stakeholders across Product Marketing and Engineering with compelling storytelling and clear strategic thinking.
- Actively contribute to the evolution of our design system identifying and filling gaps in patterns and documentation.
What were looking for
Youre an experienced and confident design practitioner who can navigate ambiguity and drive clarity. You know when to lead when to guide and when to roll up your sleeves and deliver.
You bring:
- 4 yearsin experience or product design ideally in fastpaced productled environments.
- Expertise inUX/UI designinteraction design anddesign systems particularly withFigma.
- A strong portfolio of endtoend product work that demonstrates your impact across discovery design and delivery.
- Experience working on consumerfacing apps or complex customer journeys at scale.
- A collaborative teamfirst mindset you actively mentor others and build strong relationships across disciplines.
- Strong facilitation storytelling and communication skills you can confidently influence and align diverse stakeholders.
- A deep understanding of humancentered design principles accessibility and responsible design.
