The Role
The Billing Specialist will ensure that all billing procedures are accurate timely and compliant with company policies. The Billing Specialist works closely with various departments to verify billing data resolve discrepancies and assist with the preparation of financial reports. Strong attention to detail excellent communication skills and proficiency with billing software are essential for success in this role.
Were looking for someone who has technical proficiency in:
2 years of experience as a Billing Specialist or similar role.
Passion for numbers and financial data.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office and experience with accounting software programs.
Typical Job duties would include:
Preparing issuing and sending high volumes of invoices.
Reconciling invoices with balance sheet reports and resolving any discrepancies.
Analysing all billing procedures and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Working closely with business team to ensure accuracy of all bills
Communicating with clients and other departments resolving issues and providing clarifications.
Ensuring clients billing accounts are set up correctly and according to their requirements.
Maintaining updated records of accounts receivable.
Preparing reports and meeting billing deadlines.
Managing collection of all payments
