Job Description

TO: All Teaching and Administrative Personnel Brockton Public SchoolsFROM: Dr. Kathleen F. Moran Assistant Superintendent of Human ResourcesSUBJECT: Itinerant Special Education Teacher Minimum Qualifications:Licensed in moderate disabilities PreK8 512Experience working with students with disabilities using a variety of interventions accommodations and modificationsDemonstrated ability to administer score and interpret educational testsSkilled in providing specialized instruction and using data to guide servicesExperience with alignment of CORE standards to differentiate instruction to meet the individual the needs of students with disabilitiesKnowledge of writing measurable individualized education plans goals and objectivesResponsibilitiesProvide direction instruction at Get You to the Gate (GYTTG )for SWDTesting and Assessment evaluations for all levels as determined by Director /Assistant DirectorProvide tutoring services for SWD on suspension during the dayReports to: Building Principal and Director of Exceptional LearningWork Hours: 8:00am2:30pmCompensation: According to contract
