Job Description
The Mission
Munichbased OroraTech is developing a constellation of nanosatellites with thermal infrared cameras for automated wildfire detection severe weather warnings and many other applications as well as its own microsatellite platform for inhouse and customer missions with ten assets on orbit. We are looking for a senior systems engineer as technical lead for the mission WildfireSat Canada.
What youll be doing
Be the technical lead for the payload segment of a satellite constellation as part of our missionsspanning systems engineering team
Communicate with external stakeholders such as the Canadian Space Agency or the Prime Contractor (together with Project Management)
Prepare and coordinate technical reviews with space agencies and the prime contractor
Be responsible for requirements engineering including full system traceability
Be responsible for verification and validation plans
Apply of endtoend systems analysis and modeling and the subsequent allocation and management of technical budgets / tolerances
Relevant Skills
Experience in Satellite Systems Engineering from Phase A to Operations
Experience in Requirements Engineering
Experience in Satellite Architectures
Experience as a Technical Project Lead
Understanding of Embedded Electronics
