Description

In this role you must have a working knowledge of commercial real estate loans and the associated documentation. In order to be successful in this role you will be analytically driven have the ability to problem solve proactively managerisk detection be highly diplomatic with internal and external partners and perform on multiplatform technology platforms. You must have the ability to manage competing priorities review for and ensure compliance within the team for quality assurance and will be responsible for working on projects including but not limited to audit and reporting needs. Finally you will work collaboratively across teams within not only the Real Estate and Collateral Vertical and WLS but throughout the Bank.

As a Loan Associate within the WLS Real Estate and Collateral vertical you will be leadership focused with responsibilities such as training coaching and leading in an inclusive environment in addition to providing support for the daytoday responsibilities of your team understanding the endtoend processes and supporting larger efforts for driving change and creating efficiencies with a people first mindset.

Job responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of compliance professionals providing guidance support and mentorship to ensure high performance and professional growth.
  • Oversee daily operations ensuring compliance with internal procedures controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiencies and reduce errors.
  • Develop and execute training initiatives to address skill gaps and promote continuous learning within the team.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration with internal and external clients to ensure satisfaction and address any compliancerelated concerns.
  • Analyze and address challenges related to accuracy and errors implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to support the implementation of new initiatives and projects.
  • Perform research and reporting requests
  • Undertake special projects as required

Required qualifications capabilities and skills:

  • Proven experience in a managerial role within the commercial insurance industry with a focus on compliance.
  • Strong understanding of insurance regulations compliance standards and industry best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Exceptional problemsolving and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a highpressure dynamic environment with demanding priorities and due dates.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and able to quickly acclimate to proprietary systems
  • Ability to multitask and meet timesensitive deadlines adapting to changing priorities
  • Ability to work independently with minimal level of supervision and as part of a team
  • Self starter who works well in a fast paced environment with multiple active deliverables
  • Result driven attention to detail passion for driving best practices and skilled at diplomatically breaking down barriers and obstacles

Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Finance Insurance or a related field.
  • Six years of experience in commercial real estate including documentation proficiency
  • Property and casualty insurance experience including allrisk builders risk windstorm seismic terrorism general and excess liability workers compensation employers liability and auto coverage.
