Ginsbergs Foods in Hudson NY is looking to hire a fulltime CDL A Delivery Driver Trainee! No driving experience required!

Compensation: Pay for this position starts between $18 $21 per. Opportunities to earn annual performancebased raises available!
- $25/hr with Class A permit!!
- $28/hr upon receiving Class A license!!
Once we train you to get your A license youll sign a 2 year loyalty commitment to keep driving with us! This allows you to continue growing your experience with a company that wants to see you develop and succeed with a safetyfirst mentality in mind!

Training will include everything needed to pass a Class A road test. You will learn and become familiar with the back of a box truck and CDL A truck the products we carry different ways to safely deliver products using a hand cart and ramp and get to know our customers as well as our awesome team!
Essential Job Requirements:
- Physically unloads heavy product (cases weigh up to 80lbs) from the truck at customer locations using a hand truck and ramps.
- Navigates various surfaces inclines steps and stairs while delivering product to the appropriate location (dry cooler frozen) at the customers place of business.
- Interacts in a professional manner with customers attempting to resolve concerns as they arise.
- Receives cash from customers when necessary and handles cash in accordance with company policy.
- In accordance with Ginsbergs Foods policy and procedures conducts pretrip and posttrip inspections on the tractor and trailer.
