Job Description

- Fulltime 1.0 FTE) appointment on a 12 months fixed term basis.
- Base salary range: $100524 $111534 p.a. plus 17 superannuation.
About the area
The division of Student Wellbeing and Engagement facilitates a highquality student experience through the provision of integrated and comprehensive services. The division is responsible for the delivery of the UWA Mental Health and Wellbeing Framework and the UWA Safe Respectful and Inclusive Communities Framework. Student Wellbeing and Engagement has five broad areas tertiary prevention through the Complex Case Management team; early intervention cohort initiatives and timely access to low barrier services through the Student Wellbeing team; counselling through the Psychology team; Grand Challenges and the provision of a contemporary onboarding experience through the Student Engagement team; and primary prevention programs and clinical response to genderbased violence through the Safe and Respectful Communities team.
About the opportunity
- You will coordinate the financial operations related to SSAF (Student Services and Amenities Fee) projects and initiatives as well as other studentrelated division expenditures.
- Ensure compliance with university financial governance policies and procedures support budgeting and reporting and provide advice to optimise the use of SSAF funds.
- Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders you will help align funding with student experience priorities.
About you
- Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency.
- Experience in financial reporting internal control financial analysis budgeting and forecasting.
- Strong computer skills with advanced experience with MS Excel including pivot tables etc.
- Experience with enterprisewide computerised internal systems (Concur SharePoint Power BI etc).
- Ability to interpret policies financial statements and apply guidelines and procedures.
Special Requirements
- A current National Police Clearance Certificate
- Working with Children Check.
