Job Description
In Amazon Stores we ship some of the widest arrays of technology found at any company. From to world class machine learning pipelines from digital healthcare to nocheckout retail we push the boundaries of technology in every direction using the globes largest AWS deployment.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in evolving the security review process by identifying improvement areas implementing tools and enhancing resources like wikis knowledge bases and training materials. This person will collaborate with partner tooling teams to prioritize new features and ensure smooth secure processes. They will leverage data and feedback to create scalable solutions streamline workflows and drive highquality security outcomes. Clear communication skills will be essential for articulating risks fostering collaboration and aligning teams on best practices and secure solutions.
The ideal candidate combines technical acumen with an ability to lead by influence and communicate clearly. Technically this person will be a security generalist with one or more areas of deep expertise. In their communication they will clearly articulate risks to technical and nontechnical audiences alike. Interpersonally successful candidates will effectively harmonize disparate opinions while effectively prioritizing risks to guide their partners towards secure solutions.

Key job responsibilities
Optimize Security Review Process: Streamline and improve workflows to increase efficiency and reduce risk.
CrossTeam Collaboration: Work with tooling teams to drive feature development and align on security improvements.
Identify Process Gaps: Analyze and address inefficiencies or lowquality areas in the security review process.
Enhance Documentation and Training: Maintain and improve resources (wikis knowledge base training) for consistent security guidance.
DataDriven Improvements: Use data to make informed changes and track progress of security innovations.
Develop Tools and Automations: Build and deploy internal tools to enable rapid experimentation and continuous improvement.
Establish Feedback Loops: Collect and act on feedback to keep processes aligned with team needs.
Experiment and Iterate: Test and refine tools methods and processes to stay adaptive to new threats and requirements.

BS degree in Cyber Security Computer Science Engineering Information Systems or related technical discipline; or 8 years equivalent technology experience.
5 years of Technical Program Management (TPM) experience delivering crossfunctional technical projects in a fastpaced environment.
Strong communication skills with a proven ability to align diverse stakeholders including engineers leadership and external teams.
Experience with technical frameworks such as software development lifecycles threat modeling methodologies or cloud security principles.
Datadriven mindset with a track record of using data and insights to inform decisions prioritize work and deliver measurable results.
Experience with crossfunctional collaboration across engineering product and security teams to deliver scalable solutions.
Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g. Agile Scrum) and tools to drive project .

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $197800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
