Job Description
Applications will be received reviewed and interviews completed by the Child Nutrition Director for job openings throughout the school year.
We are seeking skilled and reliable Substitute Cooks to join our culinary team. As a Substitute Cook you will be responsible for preparing and serving highquality meals according to our established recipes and standards. Your role will be crucial in ensuring our kitchen operates smoothly in the absence of our regular cooks. This is a parttime position and your availability to work on short notice will be essential.
Essential duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
- Preparation and serving meals to students according to established methods and procedures
- Maintain high standards of food preparation and service with emphasis on menu appeal and maximum nutritional value
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and safety.
- Other duties as assigned.
Hours/days:Hours vary with each opening. Hours to be discussed during the interview. This is a nonbenefited position.
