Your key responsibilities:
- Participate in the origination and of M&A and debt financing mandates with a focus on Consumer Retail Healthcare and General Industrials sectors
- Deal team member contributing to daytoday M&A processes including indepth financial analysis valuation due diligence and industry analysis
- Prepare high quality marketing presentations and industry analysis
- Attend client meetings including and pitches
- Support senior banker account coverage and idea generation
- Train and mentor juniors (interns graduates analysts) to support the development of bestinclass investment banking skillsets
- Collaborate with colleagues across the business including other IB sector teams global colleagues corporate bank and DCM to drive delivery of Deutsche Banks broad global platform
Your skills and experience:
- At least 3 years experience in Investment Banking (M&A) ideally within GI or CRH but other sector experience may be considered
- Outstanding academic achievement
- Strong financial modelling skills and commercial acumen are critical
- Detail oriented with strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Highly motivated and selfdriven with ability to multitask
- Ability to take initiative with strong critical thinking skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
