Key Account Manager Construction

Huntsman is seeking a Senior Key Account Manager supporting the Huntsman Polyurethanes Division located in The Woodlands TX or report in through a remote location. This position will report to the Commercial Director Construction Americas.

Job Scope

The Key Account Manager Construction will be responsible for the of the Key Account Strategy in North America. The revenue responsibility is roughly $100M for Polyurethanes Components. The KAM will be responsible for building strong and lasting relationships at all levels of the Key Accounts organization.

In summary as the Key Account Manager Construction you will:

  • Manage large complex key accounts and expand market share and reach.
  • Build relationships on multiple levels at key accounts including executive leadership
  • Establish internal relationships with the Huntsman Executive Leadership team and facilitate interaction between key accounts and Huntsmans executive leaders
  • Establish and implement strategic account plans.
  • Drive internal coordination in a matrixed environment to fulfill key account needs.
  • Manage CRM components including an opportunity pipeline and call reports.
  • Gather information on competition and key market dynamics
  • Leverage sales and pricing excellence strategies to increase business profitability.
  • Negotiate sustainable contracts and service offerings
  • Be an active change agent for the regions Hforce strategy.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business administration or related field.
  • 10 years of Account Management experience
  • 5 years of Key Account leadership experience.
  • 7 years of experience in all the below aspects:
    • B2B selling.
    • Existing relationship at Csuit level.
    • Contract management experience.
    • Financial analysis experience and strong business acumen.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Business administration or related field.
