Job Description
Position: Housekeeper
Location: Teaneck NJ
Rate: $30/hour
Schedule: Monday Thursday 8am 3pm; Friday 9am 4pm 35 hours)
About the Position:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Housekeeper to manage the upkeep of a fourstory home. The ideal candidate will have experience in helpingKosher meal preparation and serving be physically fit to navigate multiple flights of stairs and be capable of maintaining the homes hardwood floors. A calm demeanor and respect for boundaries are essential as is the ability to work in a scentfree environment due to family allergies. The family consists of four children and no pets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning: Maintain thorough cleanliness across all four floors of the home. Perform all laundry duties.
- Meal Prep: Assist with light Kosher food preparation ensuring adherence to kosher dietary laws.
- Supply Inventory: Track and restock supplies make purchase lists and stay organized.
- Driving: Handle driving responsibilities as needed for errands.
- Allergies: Work in a strict scentfree environment (no smoking perfume or other scents) due to severe family allergies.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience as a housekeeper in large homes with a willingness to learn about Kosher practices.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to move efficiently throughout a fourstory home.
- NonSmoker: Strictly nonsmoking due to family allergies.
- No Scents: Must not use or wear perfumes or scented products.
- Driving: A valid drivers license and own transportation.
- Calm & Professional: Maintain a calm demeanor respect boundaries and handle tasks with professionalism.
