The Specialized Residential Team Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daytoday operations and supervision of their assigned case management team whose members serve as advocates and partners to link individuals served to connect them to community resources including employment housing and physical healthcare. The Specialized Residential service line supports individuals who require intensive care and supports to maintain placement in community and/or group home settings with the goal of preventing hospitalization or institutionalization.
Compensation Range:
The starting pay for this position is $60350 $78650 for limited licensed candidates and $annual salary for fully licensed candidates and is based on nondiscriminatory factors such as skills and experience.

Essential Duties
- Serve as a leader and role model for the organization in matters relating to specialized residential services and provide daily supervision of assigned team operations.
- Ensure the compliance and successful of all specialized residential service requirements as outlined in provider contracts and the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) Medical Manual.
- Oversee assigned staff work assignments and work schedules to meet the needs of individuals served and the agency.
- Ensure that direct reports meet direct service productivity and documentation standards per agency and program expectations.
- Assist assigned team members as needed in all aspects of service planning treatment and support activities.
- Complete all assigned reporting and projects within designated time frames.
- Ensure documentation of attendance at required trainings is maintained for all assigned staff and available for review upon request.
- Regularly assess the quality of work and operational metrics for assigned staff and make suggestions for continuous improvement including the development of team improvement goals.
- Collaborate with other departments agencies and external partners regarding resources and services for improved patient care and staff development.
- Support the development of agency staff and community partners by providing training as assigned.
- Attend and participate in meetings committees and workgroups as assigned.
- Serve as a subjectmatter expert on the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and health registries and promote the utilization of the Community Electronic Health Record (CEHR) for individuals served.
- Ensure assigned staff compliance with quality care initiatives including Meaningful Use (MU) Medicare Merit Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) requirements.
- Ensure that the CNS Healthcare standards of service are applied to interactions with individuals served guests and staff.
- Participate in and promote departmental and agency quality improvement initiatives.
- Assume responsibility for professional growth by current reading and attendance at educational programs and conferences.
- Maintain knowledge and compliance with established policies and procedures corporate compliance program code of ethics applicable federal state and local laws and regulations HIPAA standards and other regulatory programs.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Supervisory Duties
- Provide consistent individual supervision (recorded) at least monthly based on their individual needs and experience that includes but is not limited to: a) Monthly case reviews b) Quarterly joint contracts c) Monthly review of progress toward attaining goals d) Review of any corrective action steps.
- Organize and oversee the daytoday operations of the assigned team to ensure appropriate coverage of responsibilities.
- Educate enforce and ensure team compliance with CNS Healthcare policies and procedures.
- Cultivate maintain and enhance team department and interdepartmental relationships to promote collaboration teamwork and a positive working environment.
- Serve as a conduit of communication between direct reports department leadership and agency leadership.
- Build a strong team by attracting selecting onboarding and developing direct reports to retain highperformance team members and empower them to elevate their level of responsibility span of control and performance.
- Serve as a role model mentor and coach in providing ongoing and consistent individual supervision that is focused on meeting individual productivity and performance goals as well as departmental goals objectives and project deadlines.
- Manage employee performance including any verbal/written warnings and conducting employee evaluations to provide examples of behavior ways for employees to improve performance and development of goals for the coming year.
- Lead assigned team in quality improvement initiatives and compliance with all quality improvement initiatives and standards to promote quality achievement across the organization.
- Responsible for managing work schedules time and attendance paid time off and mileage for assigned staff in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Social Work Counseling Psychology or Marriage and Family Therapy
- State licensure: LimitedLicensed Masters Social Worker (LLMSW) Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) LimitedLicensed Professional Counselor (LLPC) Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) LimitedLicensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LLMFT) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) LimitedLicensed Psychologist (LLP) OR Licensed Psychologist (LP)
- At least 2 years of experience in community mental health OR at least five years of experience in related human services areas.
- Prior experience in a leadership capacity overseeing direct reports or experience providing staff training supporting team operations and/or projects.
- Working knowledge of conflict resolution and crisis intervention.
- Proficient with computers Microsoft office products (including Outlook Word and Excel) and electronic health records (EHRs).
- Ability to work closely with persons with mental or physical limitations.
- Ability to contribute to an inclusive environment that recognizes the value and contributions of all persons regardless of race ethnicity national origin gender religion age marital status sexual orientation gender identity or disability.
- Advanced time management and problem solving skills.
- Ability to be forward thinking and take initiative to accomplish goals and objectives of the department.

- Valid and unrestricted Drivers License
- Transportation or Automobile accessibility with current automobile/vehicle insurance meeting agency policy requirements
Preferred
- At least 3 years of experience in a community mental health setting.
- Training and/or experience in substance use treatment stage of change behavioral treatment plans Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity (NGRI) process and motivational interviewing strategies.
- At least one 1 year of experience in a supervisory role.
- Experience working in specialized residential programming or working with community and/or group homes.
