10month fulltime position. Provide confidential health services to students and staff in order to maintain a safe and healthy learning environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess interpret and provide health care in both general and in emergency situations to students and staff in order to address safety and health concerns.
- Administer medications perform procedures and treatments in order to support student health and wellbeing
- Collaborate with the student parents medical and school personnel to manage students healthcare in the school environment which may include creating care plans.
- Schedule organize record and oversee various health assessments making appropriate referrals and followup when necessary in order to support healthy learning.
- File state and local mandated reports and maintain accurate student health records and staff reports in order to comply with health and safety laws.
- Provide healthrelated training for school personnel in order to support student health and/or remain compliant with federal state and district regulations.
- Serve as a resource to community health services for families and staff in order to address and support health needs.
- Participate in professional development in order to maintain licensure grow professionally in the field and meet the requirements of the district.
Requirements: Registered Nurse current registration State Of Illinois ISBE/RN IEP Designation and Bachelors Degree required.
