Job Description

Job Title: Senior QMS and Governance Expert

Location: Pune

Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Quality Manager with over 15 years of experience to lead and govern our Quality Management System (QMS) across all business domains within India to begin with and globally as well as next steps. This leadership role will involve developing and overseeing quality policies frameworks and governance structures across the India organization including solution development sales and delivery value chains. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic vision deep technical expertise and proven leadership skills to drive excellence compliance and continuous improvement within our QMS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • QMS Strategy & Leadership: Develop and lead a comprehensive strategy for the Quality Management System ensuring it meets the evolving needs of the business industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Governance & Policy Oversight: Establish implement and monitor governance structures within the QMS across domains such as development sales and delivery. Lead the creation and enforcement of quality policies and frameworks fostering a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Crossfunctional Quality Leadership: Act as a senior advisor to crossfunctional teams collaborating with Development Sales Delivery and Operations to integrate QMS practices and quality principles into each stage of the product and service lifecycle.
  • Quality Audits & Compliance Management: Oversee comprehensive ISO external & internal audits 9001 with potential to includeand 14001 ensuring compliance with quality policies and industry standards. Provide senior leadership with insights and recommendations based on audit findings and compliance metrics.
  • Performance Metrics & Reporting: Develop track and report on QMS performance metrics using data to drive improvements and communicate the status and effectiveness of the QMS to executive leadership.
  • Risk Management & Mitigation: Lead risk assessment and mitigation activities related to quality compliance and governance. Ensure that quality risks are proactively identified assessed and managed across all domains.
  • Team Development & Leadership: Mentor and guide quality professionals within the organization building awareness and knowledge of QMS policies and best practices.
  • Continuous Improvement of QMS: Identify gaps in our quality policies framework and QMS and steer the deployment discussions with the value chain owners for the potential roadmap for implementation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in quality management Engineering or a related field; an advanced degree or quality certifications (e.g. Six Sigma Lean ISO) are strongly preferred.
  • 15 years of experience in quality management with a proven track record in QMS governance policy creation and crossfunctional quality leadership.
  • Extensive knowledge of quality standards compliance regulations and continuous improvement methodologies (ISO 9001 Lean Six Sigma).
  • Demonstrated success in a leadership role with strategic influence across multiple domains and value chains.
  • Strong analytical skills with a high proficiency in datadriven quality improvement and performance reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively lead and inspire crossfunctional teams.
