Job Description
SUMMARY
An RTI teacher contributes to the academic success of targeted students. Works extensively to help improve skills. Conducts assessments to identify students eligible for intervention services. Diagnoses and progresses the monitoring of strengths and weaknesses. Matches skills with evidencebased instructional strategies techniques and resources. Teaches small groups of striving students. Models evidencebased instructional strategies and collaborates frequently with classroom teachers. Serves as an integral part of a problemsolving team at the building level.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Arizona Elementary CertificateK8
Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Demonstrated success in engaging African American and Latino students
Bilingual (Spanish) endorsement
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles) or proof of MMR immunization.

LOCATION: Van Buskirk Elementary Ajo & Park Area
FTE :.20 7.5 hours per day (One day a week)
Work Calendar:9.5 month
Grade Levels currently available:
- Kindergarten
- 1st Grade
- 2nd Grade
- 3rd Grade
- 4th Grade
- 5th Grade
Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.

Probationary Contracts will be issued for any contingent Certifications Positions that are 0.6 FTE or less and certified employees within their first three years with the District.
