Who Were Looking For
ToyotasEnvironmental & FacilityDepartment is looking for a passionate and highlymotivated Engineer (Plant Construction Project Manager).
The primary responsibility of this role is to as company engineer and assist in construction management (greenfield expansion etc. at production plants.
Reporting to the Manager of Facility Projects (Construction) the person in this role will support the Environmental & Facility departments objective to provide project management construction and building design to ensure projects are designed and built to quality cost schedule and safety KPIs for North American manufacturing plants.
What Youll Be Doing
Technical support to North American Manufacturing plants in the areas of building design and construction including development and maintaining of building related standards
Development of criteria (mechanical electrical fire protection civil/structural etc. for design of buildings
Subject Matter Expert for industrial buildings and building related systems as technical support for local facility groups at each site as well as for submittals during project management
Experience in plant planning project management construction and building design to ensure projects are designed and built to quality cost schedule and safety KPIs
Customer Satisfaction with proper communication and consensus with customer to support their needs
What You Bring
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Civil or Chemical Engineering
15 years of experience in building design and construction
15 years of experience in industrial buildings and building related systems
15 years of experience in project management of industrial construction projects
Intermediate level experience in AutoCAD (basic use)
Intermediate level experience of computer skills (Microsoft Office Word Excel PowerPoint Visio and Outlook)
Ability to travel up to 50
Ability to work overtime up to 25 when needed
Added Bonus If You Have
Professional Engineering License
Experience in industrial mechanical systems (piping chilled water compressed air etc.
Experience in industrial power systems (switchgear power distribution systems 480VAC and higher)
Experience in industrial structural steel systems
Experience in large scale civil installations
