Job Description
CITY OF STAUNTON
PARKING ATTENDANT
The Public Works Department is seeking applicants for a parttime Parking Attendant who is responsible for collecting and accounting for money at parking garages/lots and assisting customers. Must possess outstanding customer service skills and have proven experience in cashier related duties. Position requires work at Johnson St. Garage New St. Garage and the Wharf Parking Lot. 2530 hours per week from 8:30 a.m. 5:30 p.m. Occasional evening and/or weekend hours required for special events.
Position requires the ability to walk stand sit bend reach and lift objects up to 30 pounds. Must have fine motor skills and strong gross grip. Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
Starting pay based on experience and qualifications is $14.78/hr; No benefits. DOQ/E. Open until filled.
