RCR Mining Technologies are seeking experiencedBoilermaker / Welders to join our team in ourBunbury Workshop.
Are you passionate about delivering exceptional workmanship witha knack for metal fabrication and welding Do you aspire to workwith a progressive team where your potential can truly shine Wehave an exciting opportunity for Boilermaker Welders at RCR MiningTechnologies (RCRMT) a leading business unit within NRW positions require excellent welding and fabrication skillsas well as a strong understanding of boilermaking techniques. TheBoilermaker Welders must consistently provide highquality weldingand fabrication services to support the construction repair andmaintenance of mining technologies. With your expertise you willcontribute to the success of the team and help ensure the safetyand efficiency of mining operations.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Fabrication and welding of structural steel mechanical equipment and piping packages in an efficient and competent manner to the relevant Australian Standards and client specifications.
- Prepares all steel work for welding to best practices
- Operates and maintains all workshop equipment within your skill set
- Reviews drawings instructions blueprints or samples to ensure accurate production
- Maintain inventory of completed products
- Ensure that all machines and equipment are maintained in a clean and tidy condition and that no items are left loose
- Perform any additional tasks as directed which are within your skill qualification and competence level.
To be considered for this position you must possess thefollowing:
- Live locally or willing to relocate to the Southwest
- Australian recognised Trade Certificate
- Current Drivers Licence
- Dogging/Rigging (preferred but not essential)
- Forklift Ticket (preferred but not essential)
- Fitness to handle manual labour and provide a clear drug and alcohol screening
- A solid commitment to safety along with a genuine reliable nature.
