As a Prudential Advisors Summer Associate you will engage directly with advisors and leaders at one of our firm locations fostering a collaborative and dynamic environment. This role offers you the opportunity to gain indepth knowledge and hands on experience in on or more of the following areas:
Financial Markets and Instruments
Financial Analysis and Reporting
Data Analysis and Financial Modeling
Risk Management
Financial Technology
Client Relationship Management
This immersive experience is designed to expand your understanding and skills in the financial sector preparing you for a successful career in the industry.
Program Highlights:
Participate in meetings and events with Prudential Advisors Field leaders and advisors; gain insight into how to drive market and revenue growth.
Be a part of business in action by supporting recruiting marketing and sales activities as appropriate.
You will receive significant exposure to members of Prudential Advisors senior leadership as well as targeted training all while gaining handson experience.
Placements will be directly within a Prudential Advisor firm based in NY/NJ Metro Area.
Hybrid work arrangements: ability to work part of the week in the office as well as remotely.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
While all majors are welcome to apply preferred majors include business financial planning and related areas of study
Preferred 3.2 GPA and above
Strong written oral communication and interpersonal skills
Intellectually curious and open to change
Engaging communicators who enjoy teamwork and collaboration
Passionate for building relationships
Able to think on your feet and create solutions for a variety of personalities
Curious and creative out of the box thinker who wants to learn
Comfortable working in a fastpaced environment and embracing change
Committed to following through from start to finish
Proficient with Microsoft applications including Word PowerPoint and Excel
Experience with Salesforce Microsoft Teams Zoom and/or LinkedIn is a plus.
Timeline:
