Job Description

You must be able to reach for excellence be a compassionate early childhood educator display empathy be trustworthy and willing to be empowered!
We currently have over 150 childcare centers across Canada & the USA and are constantly expanding; come and grow within the company!
Responsibilities:
- Support childrens emotional physical or behavioural wellbeing; while helping to develop their social emotional cognitive and physical skills.
- Maintain attendance and health and safety checks.
- Work with professionals such as Speech Therapists Occupational Therapists and Early Interventionists as necessary.
- Maintain documentation reporting and record keeping
- Implement an Emergent Curriculum
- Support children through transitions in and out of the classrooms
- Participate and interact in team meetings and workshops
Specifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels with children parents and coworkers.
- Ability to utilize computer systems for all documentation reporting and classroom operations
- Strong collaborator and team player
- Ability to take the initiative in and out of the classroom
- Strong problemsolving skills
Qualifications:
- Registered ECE with the province of Manitoba
- Clear Criminal reference check
- Child Abuse certificate
- Valid Standard child care First Aid and CPR
- Immunization records up to date
- Ability to push pull and lift up to 45 pounds
