In this role you will:
Oversee maintenance and reliability engineering tasks including the redesign upkeep and repair of utility systems buildings and equipment.
Take responsibility for individual contributions to achieve team deliverables working effectively as a team member and coordinating with others.
Manage personal time and professional development being accountable for results.
Follow standard procedures to complete tasks of varying scope sequence and complexity within the agreed timeframe.
Identify and solve moderately routine problems.
Complete assignments with moderate supervision using established procedures referring deviations from standard procedures to the supervisor.
Ensure work is reviewed for accuracy quality and adherence to standards.
Participate in multicraft work activities assist with plant audits be involved in safety committee activities and follow all Environmental Health and Safety requirements and protocols.
Track repair history of process support systems and equipment lead or participate in continuous improvement activities and make recommendations regarding improved machine performance.
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
High School Diploma or GED with 2 years of relevant experience
Proficiency in computer usage
Solid understanding of basic technical or functional disciplines
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)
Background in Biopharma
Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices
Solid understanding of Food and Drug Administration PSM
Experience with continuous improvement activities
Ability to read and interpret detailed blueprints and schematics
Excellent time management and organizational skills
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Potential for exposure to hazardous materials heights temperature extremes equipment in motion noisy dusty and dirty conditions stooping bending and heavy lifting. As part of the Apprentice Academy shift and area placement will be based on business need. May work variable shifts and 24 hours on call as required. Participates in Multicraft work activities as required. (EMU craft generic).
The proper use of the correct Personal Protective Equipment for each task as well as compliance with all applicable safety Standard Procedures is a must.
NONSTANDARD WORK SCHEDULE TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to pass aseptic gowning qualification
May work variable shifts and overtime as required
Acceptance into the position includes agreement of area and shift rotation during the 8000hour program to gain experience and knowledge in all areas of the facility to meet the minimum required hours under each of the onthejob training categories specific to the trade.
Upon completion of the program area and shift placement will be based on business need.
