Job Description
Work.
The Asset Management Team are responsible for Sunwaters strategic and tactical asset management functions. As the Senior Planning Engineer you will be responsible for the development and implementation of innovative and effective asset management strategies that deliver whole of life customer focussed and sustainable operations.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Participating in a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technical officers to implement and comply with Sunwaters asset management policies strategies plans systems and processes.
- Conducting and documenting the Civil components of asset inspections and conditions and risk assessments in accordance with State Government regulations and guidelines.
- Developing full lifecycle asset management plans for Civil assets to maximise return on investment through the balance of risk cost performance and social and environmental sustainability.
- Develop the planned maintenance civil project specifications budget estimates and business cases in collaboration with other teams and business partners.
Please note that this role will require regular travel to complete site inspections. Travel will usually be around 2 3 days per month.
Sunwater are seeking an experienced individual with a proven track record in strategic asset plan development whole of life analysis and asset portfolio review. You will hold tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering and be RPEQ registered (or have the ability to obtain within 12 months).
You will also bring:
- Problem solving skills with the ability to analyse complex Civil issues and provide fitforpurpose solutions.
- Class C drivers licence for manual vehicle
- Working at Heights and Confined Spaces qualifications or willingness to obtain
