Job Description
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Medical Assistant (MA/CMA)
Keystone Health is excited to welcome a fulltime LPN/ MA to our dynamic team at our Family Medicine Practice! As a growing Community Health Center we are dedicated to enhancing the wellness of our community.
Position Details:
- Fulltime 40 hours per week)
- Four 10hour shifts per week
- No weekends or holidays
Responsibilities:
- Handle phone calls and requests for medical records for new patients
- Track referrals lab results and diagnoses
- Rooming/discharging patients obtaining vital signs administering vaccines/medications point of care testing
- Authorize medications as needed
- Provide support to other nurses as required
- Multitask efficiently in a fastpaced environment
- Proper documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system EPIC
Qualifications LPN Applicants:
- Current PA LPN license
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Previous office nursing experience and knowledge of electronic medical records preferred
Qualifications MA Applicants:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Certificate
- Graduate of Medical Assisting Program (MA)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Previous office nursing experience and knowledge of electronic medical records preferred
- Spanishspeaking skills are a plus but not required
