As the Health Informatic Analyst you will drive meaningful change in healthcare by transforming complex data into insights that improve patient outcomes and hospital performance. In this role youll use your analytical expertise to support smarter decisionmaking and demonstrate the realworld value of our solutions.
Capture structure and analyze publicly reported healthcare data from various databases to identify trends patterns and insights that can improve patient care operational efficiency and hospital reimbursement.
Support value creation for our healthcare partners through the aggregation and analysis of clinical quality and financial healthcare data that reveal insights in healthcare outcomes.
Analyze data on hospital performance metrics such as readmission rates patient satisfaction scores and clinical outcomes to demonstrate the value of our interventions in improving these metrics or identify areas for improvement.
Conduct analyses using CMS Pay for Performance data and other financial indicators to optimize resource allocation reduce costs and improve the financial health of our healthcare partners.
Support decisionmaking by providing evidence to healthcare providers on how our interventions can contribute to meeting CMS performance targets ultimately leading to improved patient outcomes and financial benefits.
Work collaboratively with the Health Economics Manager Data Analytics Marketing Sales and Strategic Sales teams to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights to ensure our health economic value story is being told across all channels and decisionmaking functions.
Develop supporting data to aid in the development of HEOR research that support reimbursement and policy change initiatives Develop detailed training materials and system documentation Train staff and users on new data systems data collection procedures and reporting
Develop and maintain automated reporting solutions that enhance our commercial health economic and valuebased care competencies.
Generate and distribute regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and present findings to internal and external stakeholders.
Participate in the evaluation and implementation of health informatics health economic and digital transformation projects.
Follow data management and reporting regulations and standards such as HIPAA.
What you need
Required
Bachelors degree in Health Informatics Information Systems Public Health Business Analytics or a related field.
2 years of experience in health informatics data analysis or a related role.
Knowledge of data analysis tools (such as Python R or SQL) for data manipulation and analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated understanding of valuebased care models including specific metrics used to assess patient outcomes and healthcare quality (e.g. HEDIS CAHPS).
Proven experience working with healthcare data standards and interoperability frameworks such as ICD10 HL7 and FHIR evidenced by specific projects or roles.
Handson experience in developing and implementing Power BI visualizations including creating dashboards and reports to analyze healthcare data.
Possession of a recognized certification in healthcare quality patient safety or a related field (e.g. CPHQ CPPS).
$77200 $168200 salary plus bonus eligible benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on pay is based on skills experience and other relevant factors.
