Summary of the position:
The Finance Manager RIS India Pune supports and guides the Pune Site Leadership Team (LT) and the global RIS organizations as a finance business partner to achieve the Pune Site and RIS organization goals. The Pune Site hosts Diagnostics RIS and RDS as well as various Group Functions with a rapidly expanding Group Informatics Team. As an integral member of the Site LT you will coown the development and of the Pune site strategy aligning it with local divisional and global priorities. Your finance expertise and comprehensive understanding of Roche Groups business areas and their financial implications will enable you to optimize onsite resource allocation for both shortterm and longterm gains.
Apart from your strong focus on finance you will collaborate seamlessly with crossfunctional teams to achieve shared goals leveraging the existing Roche Finance Support framework including Crossfunctional Finance Procurement and RSS (Roche Services & Solutions). Your ability to identify networking opportunities and foster collaboration while ensuring rigorous compliance sets you apart.

Main tasks of the position
Financial Oversight and Compliance: Accountable for all financial policies ensuring accuracy integrity and consistency in financial information in accordance with Roche Group as well as general accounting standards and regulatory/statutory requirements.
Implementation of Systems: Implement stateoftheart accounting/control systems for efficient and timely financial data preparation reporting and analysis.
Process Improvement and Internal Controls: Identify develop and maintain efficient processes driving continuous improvement and automation opportunities harmonize and simplify finance processes together with Site Finance and RSS while enhancing stakeholder experience.
Financial Reporting Forecasting and Planning: Guide the preparation and issuance of financial reports budgeting and forecasting processes. Align business and financial strategies with overall goals.
Stakeholder Management: Maintain effective relationships with financial constituencies act as the primary contact for auditors play an active role as a member of the entitys board of directors and represent RIS Pune Site internally and externally.
Finance Business Partnering: Provide highquality finance support to the RIS India Site Head Site LT including Diagnostics and Group functions homebased on the site. Support shaping and delivering onsite strategy goals and business plans ensuring alignment with Roche priorities and local IT ecosystems. Act as both Local and Global Finance Business Partner to support Divisional and RIS priorities as well as BAF / RISF OKRs.
Global Initiatives and Business Projects: Drive and contribute to key global initiatives and business projects such as but not limited to future SAP Aspire Rollout at the RIS Pune site.
Governance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with financial practices best practices and Roche Group standards including corporate compliance.
Promote Digital Solutions: Embrace the digital mindset prioritizing digital solutions in financial processes.
Foster an inclusive environment that promotes diverse thinking and actively supports collaboration within the RIS India site and the broader Roche finance community.
Qualifications of the position:
Bachelors degree in finance/business administration or related field is required MA/MBA is a plus
Minimum of 5 years of work experience in finance roles with increasing responsibility. Experience in a finance business partnering role is a plus
Experience in the diagnostics or software development industry or a related field across geographies business functions and roles is a plus
Proven VACC leader prioritising enterprisewide impact and focusing on highimpact work
Furthermore:
Capabilities and experience with new agile ways of working and collaboration across teams and chapters as well as encouraging empowered decision making
Entrepreneurial mindset with excellent communication skills that inspire and motivate others
Extensive negotiation and stakeholder management skills with ability to influence at all levels and effectively position ideas
Ability to navigate multicultural environments promote and foster an inclusive work environment
Fluent in English
