Job Description

Description

Drive the planning and delivery for the development and production of Coherents Optical Circuit Switch platform. Partner with engineering product design and business teams to define requirements build project plans manage resources and ensure timely delivery of highquality platform.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead the endtoend of technical programs from initiation to delivery.
  • Define program scope goals success metrics and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Create and manage detailed project plans schedules resource allocations and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor progress identify and resolve issues and ensure accountability across all teams.
  • Maintain cost models and drive organizations to improve them.
  • Interface with customers and lead such engagements including presentations and issue resolution.
  • Communicate program status risks and milestones clearly to stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes tools and efficiency.

Education & Experience

  • Advanced degree in optical engineering electrical engineering physics or other optoelectronic discipline.
  • 12 years in technical program management or product line management

Skills

  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Excellent formal and informal communications skills including written and oral discussions
  • Ability to function effectively in both technical and business environments.
  • Able to function in English. Mandarin Chinese proficiency is a plus.

Working Conditions

  • This position is ideally onsite in Sunnyvale CA but hybrid could be considered
  • May require occasional offsite meetings or travel
  • Regular use of a computer and other office equipment is necessary
  • Interaction with team members and external contacts is a regular part of the job
  • May require occasional overtime and flexibility in work hours to accommodate the executives needs

Physical Requirements

  • Sitting for extended periods while working on a computer or conducting meetings.
  • Use of hands and fingers for typing writing and handling documents.
  • Occasional lifting of objects or materials up to 20 pounds for administrative tasks.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Mobility within the office environment to attend meetings or interact with colleagues.

Safety Requirements

All employees are required to attend scheduled training follow the site EHS procedures and Corporate EHS standards. This includes the use of proper protective equipment (PPE) as required by the job responsibilities.

Managers will ensure that all safety and environmental procedures are followed consistently. They will ensure that risk assessments are performed proper training work instructions required PPE is available and will monitor compliance.

Depending on location this position may be responsible for the and maintenance of the ISOand/or other applicable standards that may apply to the relevant roles and responsibilities within the Quality Management System and Environmental Management System.
