Job Duties
Represents the Division of Child Support Enforcement of the Virginia Department of Social Services in its mission to determine paternity and establish modify and enforce support obligations; litigates in state and federal courts; provides counsel legal services and training to the Division regarding cases program guidance and procedure; participates on committees and workgroups as requested; develops and maintains open communication and positive relationships with the courts; cultivates and fosters a positive attorneyclient relationship with the Division; performs administrative duties; supervises legal administrative assistants as assigned; attends conferences seminars and continuing legal education; prepares and presents training and informational programs and completes special projects as assigned.
