Job Description

Hire Resolves Client is urgently looking for an experienced Safety Officer to join their operations in Mpumalanga!

Responsibilities:

  • Lead safety audits inspections and investigations to ensure compliance.
  • Promote a strong safety culture by compiling stats and driving awareness.
  • Hold legal appointment under Minerals Act Regs 2.17.1 2.17.4.
  • Ensure full MHSA compliance and maintain good standing with authorities.
  • Report incidents investigate accidents and update safety procedures regularly.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • National Diploma in Safety Management
  • COMSOC 1 and 2
  • A Valid Trade Certificate or Blasting Certificate
  • 3 years relevant experience in a mining environment
