This position is responsible to effectively lead an operational area of a Logistics Center of approximately 5 to 30 colleagues managing the efficient flow of goods services and information between points of origin through order delivery to meet customer and business requirements.
Ensures that operational KPIs are achieved within business objectives.
Ensures the and continuous improvement of standard logistics processes such as replenishment data interchange demand management electronic data systems administration and related functions.
Complies with and ensures compliance with Pfizer local state and federal regulations related to Quality EHS Security Dangerous Goods Transportation etc. (FDA DEA DOT OSHA EPA etc..
May supervise colleagues having hazardous waste job functions. May be responsible for signing hazardous waste manifests.
Builds effective relationships with customers through logistics initiatives integrates learnings from customers competitors operating entities transportation customer service industry and professional groups to continuously improve the competitive position.
Responsibilities may include occasional special project work and other duties as assigned by the Site Leadership.
Ensures to develop colleagues to achieve their maximum potential.

What You Will Achieve
In this role you will:
Managing the daytoday business of order assembly fulfillment picking and packaging operations at the Pleasant Prairie Logistics Center.
Thorough understanding and management of Cold Chain requirements.
The responsibility includes managing and training others in all associated tasks and functions and responsibilities in relation to order assembly.
Role also includes working with business units and customer service as necessary to insure effective and efficient flow of outbound Small Package LTL and TL shipments from the Pleasant Prairie Logistics Center.
Working closely with operations compliance functions to ensure operations are in full compliance with internal Pfizer policies and guidelines as well as external regulatory bodies.

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
Applicant must have a bachelors degree with at least 2 years of experience; OR a masters degree with 0 years of experience.
OR an associates degree with 6 years of experience; OR a high school
diploma (or equivalent) and 8 years of relevant experience
Proficiency in MS Office
Solid understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
Strong written and oral communication skills
Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)
Experience in manufacturing investigations and CAPA implementation
Strong problemsolving skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to develop and mentor team members
