Job Description
Uses skills as a seasoned and experienced administrative operations professional to manage plan and administer the operations of a small to midsized academic or nonacademic department or organizational unit with limited scope. May report to a chair director or a higher level administrative operations professional or manager. Perform short and longterm planning for the organization. May supervise staff or students. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

The HEAL Initiative is recruiting a fulltime Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This new role will serve Administrative and logistic support for the inaugural HEAL California program which will launch in July 2025.

This position will help plan manage stakeholders organize in person and remote stakeholder meetings as well as carry out important strategic operational duties. We are seeking an excellent Project Manager who is organized and detail oriented proactive and excels at multitasking. This person will work with a variety of stakeholders both internal and external and should feel comfortable working across diverse groups.

This is a contract role for 2 years from the date of hire.

The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.

Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.

The salary range for this position is $78900 $167300 (Annual Rate).

    • Minimum three 3 years experience in consulting or project management
    • Thorough knowledge of financial analysis and reporting techniques and / or human resources policies and procedures for staff and academic employees.
    • Solid knowledge of common Universityspecific computer application programs.
    • Knowledge of a variety of administrative operational activities such as event planning basic fundraising processes risk management planning website design accounting and payroll and contracts and grants regulations and guidelines.
    • Thorough knowledge of University rules and regulations processes protocols and procedures for budget accounting and fund management and / or personnel management.

    The Division of Hospital Medicine (DHM) is the largest division in the DOM in terms of faculty size and is a national leader in clinical care education research and quality improvement. Clinically the division runs 11 clinical services and provides care for nearly half of the patients in the adult hospital on any given day.
