The PPD FSP Solution:
PPDs Functional Service Provider division partner with and serve as an extension of our PPD team supporting our customers key functions. Discover Impactful Work:
Drives and owns a subset of projectspecific activities as directed by the Project Lead. May provideownership related to the compilation tasks related to supporting overall delivery of the project (qualitytime cost) such as but not limited to: project reports author and/or review of project plans vendor
management management of financial activities including updates analyses and functional lead follow up as needed.
A day in the Life:
Owns a subset of project tasks as deputized by the Project Lead to support the crossfunctional delivery of the project.
Creates tracks and updates project plans.
Compiles project reports and status updates.
Coordinates and leads internal & external (if needed) project team meetings.
Contributes to the daytoday management of project finances including performing financial analyses updates and provides required followup withfunctional leads when necessary.
Owns vendor management activity.
Brings together information from internal project functions to coordinate the
of project deliverables.
Manages and coordinates crossfunctional gathering of information for the
project Risk Register (from initiation to closure).
Maintains compliance with all organization policies SOPs ICH GCP regulatoryand project specific requirements.
Keys to Success:
Bachelors Degree Basic Sciences Clinical Business operations Finance Computer Science.
Central Lab experience
Experience:
Previous clinical trial sample related activity experience
Previous experience that provides the knowledge skills and abilities to perform the job
Demonstrated experience in range of role essential skills (e.g. data analysis problem resolution enterprise wide project management tools).
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Excellent technical and systems competency such as computer skills to include effective use ofsystems and applications such as Microsoft Outlook Word Excel and PowerPoint as well asorganization systems (CTMS Preclarus Clarity)
Solid attention to detail and process focused
Strong oral and written communication skills
Proactive and results oriented including ability to be attentive to stakeholder needs
Basic therapeutic area knowledge
Good understanding of the key principles of project management(time quality cost) including basicfinancial acumen
Good coordination organizational time management and planning skills to coordinate multiple
projects and changing priorities
Basic financial understanding/awareness
