Your tasks
Timeresolved analysis of lightmaterial interaction in transparent materials using a pumpprobe microscope
Optical and mechanical implementation of novel optical concepts for glass cutting with lasers
Validation of optical concepts and testing of newly developed optical systems
Development and analysis of new machining processes with regard to laser parameters and beam shaping concepts
Independent processing and evaluation of the processes
Collaboration in the advanced development team material processing with stateoftheart USP lasers
What we are looking for
Background in physics optics engineering or a comparable field of study
Laboratory experience with lasers/optics desired
First programming skills (Python/Matlab) appreciated
Excellent knowledge of MS Office
Very good language skills in English and German
Analytical and conceptual skills structured and independent way of working
