Key job responsibilities
This role requires working closely with businesses across Amazon key product and software development teams across the company to define strategy and requirements and then lead projects through operations design and delivery. This position involves regular communication with senior management on status risks and product strategy. Excellent listening writing skills and strong technical competency are essential. The ideal candidate has thrived and succeeded in delivering broadly adopted technology products/services in a very high growth environment where priorities shift quickly. They are a strong leader who can prioritize well communicate clearly and compellingly and who understands how to drive a high level of focus and excellence. Qualified candidates have experience defining projects and features collecting requirements writing detailed functional and test specifications coordinating large cross functional projects and schedules and delivering complex projects with accurate results at high scale.
From a business and technical perspective this TPM will:
Have a strong track record of shaping business strategy for technical products or services.
A strong understanding of the Payments industry is desirable.
Understand how to design scalable software.
Be conversant with internet technologies.
Communicate effectively with both business and technical partners.
Have an entrepreneurial spirit.
Professional traits which are not unique to this position but necessary for Amazon leaders:
Exhibits excellent judgment.

The global portfolio of products APP currently negotiates builds and manages includes Cobrand Credit Cards Private Label Credit Cards Shop with Points Installments (Buy Now Pay Later) and Amazon Currency Converter for Sellers and Buyers. 5 years of technical product or program management experience
7 years of working directly with engineering teams experience
3 years of software development experience
5 years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams building processes and coordinating release schedules
5 years of project management disciplines including scope schedule budget quality along with risk and critical path management experience
Experience managing projects across cross functional teams building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
Experience defining KPIs/SLAs used to drive multimillion dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

The base salary for this position ranges from $128100/year up to $214000/year. Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
