Job Description Summary
The Master Scheduler will be responsible for coordinating inputs from the demand side (Channels & Technical Project Managers) and supply side (new and repair parts) to create a comprehensive and attainable schedule that incorporates shop capacity material inputs and customer need for the production teams to execute.Job Description
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Create a rolling 3month production schedule for the production teams to execute.
- Communicate with Channels and Technical Project Managers to incorporate customer needs in the plan
- Lead planning meetings across a crossfunctional team to review new and repair part commitments against schedule needs to identify critical path items
- Consolidate information flow on material needs and develop a systematic way to report to supporting organizations (i.e. procurement)
- Work across all the production teams onsite to ensure schedule is realistic with capacity constraints
- Ensure system accuracy for dates and other data in multiple systems
Basic Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree OR a High School Diploma / GED and 4 years of experience in material planning and scheduling
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Effective interpersonal and leadership skills to influence across the organization
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage information flow and create comprehensive output
- Ability to manage a complex environment of conflicting priorities with problem solving and collaboration
- High level of proficiency in MS Office (specifically Excel)
Desired Characteristics:
- Lean and/or continuous improvement mindset Green Belt or Black Belt certification
- Experience working with AeroDerivative Gas Turbines/Aviation engine and module configurations
- Knowledge of/proficiency in Oracle ERP Tableau
