Job Description
Amazon is looking for an entrepreneurial Senior Vendor Manager who will own the P&L and relationships with some of the largest vendors in Business Electronics Automotive & Technology. The Senior Vendor Managers will utilize a wide range of skills and work across major functional areas such as inventory management marketing merchandising pricing operations and finance to drive the performance of vendor partners and will also act as the vertical lead for a category within Business Electronics Automotive & Technology.
As a Senior Vendor Manager you will be accountable for business results across the vendors and categories you manage. Your direct responsibility will be to manage performance of the product portfolio including developing vendor relationships negotiating terms and contracts expanding product selection setting prices setting inventory forecasts developing marketing programs driving sales and margin improvements and creating a bestinclass customer experiences.
The successful candidate will be able to take their broad skillset and experience across multiple facets of retail to drive a successful business. They will be able to deliver results at both a strategic and tactical level across all aspects of the business innovate and overcome hurdles and achieve profitable longterm growth. They will also have strong verbal and written communication skills and work effectively with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
5 years of account management project or program management or buying experience
Bachelors degree
Experience driving internal crossteam collaboration
Experience using data to influence business decisions
Experience with business analysis and P&L management
Experience driving direction and alignment with crossfunctional teams
MBA

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $109000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
