Job Description

Would you like to contribute to save lives

Join our Automotive Radar center at NXP TOULOUSE to develop solutions enabling the car to sense its environment for advanced driver assistance toward autonomous driving and zero road fatalities.

In this exciting role you will be challenged by taking your part in the future of Automotive.

The Advanced Chip Engineering (ACE) entity develops advanced solutions for automotive processors microcontrollers audio and radar systems. In Toulouse about 70 engineers are working on automotive radar domain for autonomous driving. In the RADAR Validation group we are now looking for a Senior Validation Engineer to support the development of NXPs next chip generation.

Your responsibilities:

As a key member of the team you will be responsible for:

Defining validation benches environment and measurements conditions

Implementing measurements benches automation

Executing & reporting on IP measurements

Debugging Silicon (hardware and firmware)

Supporting creation of new measurements techniques and environments

Propose device Firmware updates to improve performance.

Supporting junior team members development

Your profile

Masters/Bachelors Degree in Electrical/Electronic engineering

8 years experience in relevant industry

Expertise in high frequency measurements techniques and related parameters

Expertise in lab instrument automation (Python LabVIEW).

Experience in embedded firmware development.

Capability to understand complex systems easily hovering between detailed assessment and highlevel overview.

Fluent in English language both oral and written to work in an international environment with colleagues around the world.

Excellent communication skills both verbal and in writing

Open to new ideas and have a creative attitude.

Taking initiative to spot and implement improvement.

Strong problemsolving & analytical skills
