HSHS St. Anthonys Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to join our Medical/Surgical unit. Ideal candidates are patient focused mission driven caregivers looking for an opportunity to apply knowledge in a fastpaced environment.
Position Specifics:
- Department: Medical/Surgical Unit 2. Floor recently remodeled with all private units. Midsize hospital but small feel. Supportive team in place with a lot of opportunity to have your voice heard
- Schedule: PartTime Nights 24 hours/week 7:00pm7:00am) with weekend rotation
- Facility: St. Anthonys Hospital
- Location: Effingham IL
- Compensation that aligns with experience. Shift differentials for night and weekend on top of base rate!
Education Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
Experience Qualifications:
- 1 year Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Patient Care Technician (PCT) experience; or 6 months Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician experience and certification as indicated below.
Certifications Licenses and Registrations:
- Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) or Patient Care Technician (PCT) in the state of practice is required with 6 months experience as noted above. Certification is not required for those greater than one year experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) is required within 30 days upon hire.

Pay Range:
$18.00 $25.20
A successful candidates actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience skills training certifications and education.
