The Opportunity:
In this role you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the operational activities for a variety of research and instructional laboratories for the Voiland School of Chemical Engineering and Bioengineering. You will provide operational research and administrative support while ensuring efficient laboratory activities. You will enhance processes and procedures for optimal functioning of personnel facilities and equipment. Your advanced technical and operational skills alongside independent judgment are essential to the position.
Additional Information:
This is a full time 100 FTE) permanent position. Overtime eligibility will be determined upon final salary placement.
This position works onsite the WSU Pullman Campus.
Monthly Salary: $4508.70 $6763.06 Commensurate with experience and qualifications
In accordance with RCW 49.58.110 the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidates current experience education skills and abilities related to the position.

Required Qualifications:
A Bachelors degree in a field relevant to area of specialization and three 3 years of experience directly related to the specialty area. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a yearforyear basis.
Knowledge ofOSHAlaboratory standards theOSHAHazard Communication Rule and experience creating and maintaining a laboratory chemical hygiene or biosafety program
Preferred Qualifications:
Three years experience working within instructional laboratories or related education/experience. Familiarity with analytical and microscopy equipment such as but not limited to gas chromatographsHPLC mass spectrometer Raman spectrometer atomic force microscope confocal microscope fluorescence microscope Xray photoelectron spectroscopy XPS thermogravimetric analysis TGA chemical transient kinetics CTK appropriate safety certification such as Certified Safety Profession or completion of other related certification
