Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities
- Must have an N3 Diesel Mechanic.
- Must have a Red Seal or Trade Test Certificate.
- Must have 5 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic
- Must know Yellow Plant Equipment and Powerstar Trucks.
- Must have handson experience with Bell ADT
- Must have A valid code 14 drivers license with PDP
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform diagnostics repairs and maintenance on dieselpowered earthmoving equipment and Powerstar Trucks.
- Conduct scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on a variety of heavy machinery.
- Troubleshoot mechanical hydraulic and electrical issues.
- Ensure that all repairs and maintenance work is completed to the highest standards and in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed including parts used labor hours and equipment condition.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to optimize workflow and minimize downtime.
- Stay uptodate with industry developments and advancements in machinery technology
Skills and Competencies:
- Proven experience working with earthmoving equipment.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines hydraulics and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent diagnostic and problemsolving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including overtime and weekends if required.
- Must have your tools to be able to do what is expected of as earthmoving mechanic
