Assistant Principal/ Instructional Facilitator
DEPARTMENT: Administrative JOB STATUS: Full Time
POSITIONS SUPERVISED: Teachers & Staff REPORTS TO: Building Administrator
GRADE/LEVEL: K12 F.L.S.A: Exempt
WORK SCHEDULE: 240 contracted days
POSITION SUMMARY
Working under supervision of the school principal assists in administering the school in accordance with school board
policies and uses leadership supervisory and administrative skills to manage assigned school so as to promote the
educational development of each student.

EDUCATION AND LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of Masters Degree with an accredited educational institution. Other requirements per job description.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of three years of teaching teaching/ administrative experience preferred with Arkansas Highly Qualified Teacher designation status. Other requirements per job description.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Handeye and mindeye coordination. Constant hearing; intermittent speaking standing walking and writing. Frequent carrying keyboarding and other repetitive movements. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 10 pounds as needed to move objects often.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Excellent oral and written communication skills. Skills in human relations leadership and conflict management. Knowledgeable of teaching techniques that meet the diverse needs of students. Demonstrated skills in the use of technology to enhance student learning.
