The WHS Worldwide Ergonomics and Safety Experience (WESE) team is seeking a detailedoriented experienced Program Manager to lead join the Ergonomics Policy Implementation team vertical and coordinate regulatory ergonomic responses with the governance and external affairs team.
This team will partner closely with Governance and External Affairs Legal and Operations Excellence to drive awareness of and adherence to the ergonomics policies and procedures with the goal of driving sitespecific risk reduction. This position requires an experienced customerobsessed leader with deep project management expertise who can interface with policy managers to deliver results via cross organizational programs working through ambiguity forging crossdiscipline relationships and influencing senior leaders and executives.
This role requires travel 25 of the time.
Key job responsibilities
Drive resolution of request for information for inspections complaints deep dives related to ergonomics at facilities worldwide
Identify and address customer and business pain points by actively deep diving into data and operational processes and by working with crossfunctional teams
Write effective Amazon documents and ensure high quality content for stakeholders
Work backwards demonstrate planning capability to execute on deliverables
Provide effective communication to customers and stakeholders across regions
Collect analyze and present data to drive decision making as required
Anticipate bottlenecks and blockers assess risks mitigate issues and troubleshoot as needed

5 years of program or project management experience
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Experience owning program strategy end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership
5 years of working cross functionally with tech and nontech teams experience
5 years of cross functional project delivery experience
Bachelors degree in Occupational Health and safety or ergonomics
Project Management Professional certification
10 years of relevant management and policy experience
Experience prioritizing complex deliverables understanding and discussing technical concepts managing tradeoffs and running meetings with technical and business leaders
Verbal and written communication skills
Strategic thinking experience with an eye for tactical details
Experience working in a fastpaced environment
Successful record of accomplishment working with other teams within the company using a high degree of influence and a relationshipbased approach to achieve results
Experience managing analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
Masters Degree in Business Administration
Ability to influence negotiate with and persuade others
Demonstrated ability to build and foster effective relationships and networks with others
Experience in stakeholder management dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
