Valid Ohio drivers license and proof of auto insurance is required by hospital policy. Must pass a motor vehicle background inspection insurance eligibility driving qualifications and training set forth by Nationwide Childrens Hospital and must maintain qualification of insurance guidelines.

Essential Functions:
- Drives shuttle vehicles following designated routes and schedules to transport passengers in a timely manner.
- Adheres to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the shuttle.
- Assists passengers with boarding and deboarding the shuttle. Communicates effectively to provide information and directions.
- Maintains the cleanliness of shuttle interior and exterior and the proper fuel supply.
- Monitors activity in parking lots and various areas and frequently performs random patrols of assigned area.
- Responds safely effectively and efficiently (SEE) to all related matters that come to their attention and in the performance of activities as assigned.
Education Requirement:
High School diploma required.
Licensure Requirement:

Skills:
- Ability to be proficient in the safe operation of Security shuttle vehicles.
- Ability to read and comprehend hospital/departmental policies and procedures and regulatory publications.
- Sufficient interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all persons regardless of position ethnicity sex age or economic status.
